McQuay McKinney, age 76, of Big Springs School Road in Irvine, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Richmond. He was born March 16, 1948, in Estill County and was the son of the late George W. and Daphney Newton McKinney. He was the retired owner of Mac’s Four Season Lawn Care and attended the New Bethel Baptist Church #2. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Elaine Jones McKinney, and is survived by:
1 daughter: Daphne McKinney - Oldham Co.
1 son: McQuay McKinney, II - Boyd Co.
2 brothers: Millard McKinney - Estill Co.
With Wilby McKinney - Estill Co.
6 grandchildren
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Reva Jean McIntosh and Pauletta Sparks, and 6 brothers, Delay, W.M., Thomas, Zion, George Lynn, and Roy Wallace McKinney.
