Mary Ethel Withers Cole, age 90, of Dry Branch Road in Irvine passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at the Marcum ; Wallace Memorial Hospital after a short illness.She was born November 7, 1922 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Lester Columbus and Lyda Rawlins Withers.She was a retired employee of Irvin Industries and was a lifelong member of the Irvine First Baptist Church.She had lived in Estill County all of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Cole.She is survived by: 3 Daughters:Doris Fortney ; husband, Wendell Madison Co. Lyda Harrison ; husband, Dallas Estill Co. Carolyn Baber Estill Co. 4 Sons:Chester Cole, Jr. ; wife, Barbara Estill Co. Lester Cole ; wife, Barbara Estill Co. Norman Cole ; wife, Emmaleen Madison Co. Kenny Cole ; wife, Kelly Fayette Co. Daughter-in-Law:Tammy Cole Estill Co. 2 Brothers:Eugene Withers Dayton, OH Harold Withers Lexington 20 Grandchildren 32 Great Grandchildren 5 Great-Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by 2 daughters; Shirley Epperson and Sally Faye Cole, 1 son, Carl Cole, 1 sister, Loreana Caruthers and 4 brothers; Freddie Wayne Withers, Willard Withers, L.C. Withers and Charles Withers. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 23, 2 PM at the Irvine First Baptist Church by Bro. Sherl Thomas and Bro. Eddie Benton.Burial will be at the Oakdale Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Friday at the Irvine First Baptist Church.Warren F. Toler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
