Obituary for Mary L. "Cookie" Brinegar
Mary L. 'Cookie' Brinegar, age 65, of Morgan Street in Berea passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018, at her home following a long illness. She was born November 27, 1952 in Richmond and was the daughter of the late Wiley and Roxie Burdine Burns. She was a former B;B Deli employee and a member of the New Vision Pentecostal Church. She had lived in Estill County most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Foister 'Duke' Brinegar. She is survived by: 2 Daughters: Tabitha (Steve) Parke Estill Co. Crystal (John) Luster Estill Co. 1 Son: Duke Anthony Brinegar Estill Co. 2 Sisters: Loraine Bicknell Madison Co. Linda Hoover Madison Co. 4 Brothers: Wiley Burns Madison Co. J.B. Burns Madison Co. Millard Burns Madison Co. David Burns Madison Co. 5 Grandchildren 10 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by 1 sister, Marie Parker, 2 brothers; Charles and Jay Hendricks and 1 grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 30, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Jeff Jackson. Friends may call after 11 AM Thursday at the Funeral Home.
