Mary Joyce Miller Warner, age 93, of Warner Lane in Irvine passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital. She was born January 13, 1933, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late George Whitley Miller and Elizabeth Ross Miller. She was a retired Bus Driver for the Estill County School District, and she was the first Headstart Bus Driver in Estill County. Mary was a member of the Bethel Christian Church, a Kentucky Colonel, a Sunday School Teacher, and the State Representative and Secretary for the Disabled American Veterans Organization. She loved children, quilting, and the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edward Warner, and she is survived by:

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Brenda Lou Warner Puckett and her husband, Raymond John Puckett, 1 son, Zackie Glenn Warner Sr., 7 sisters, Virginia Whisman, Laura Durbin, Cora Hager, Myrtie Myers, Effie Georgie Miller Peters, Opha Miller Hall, and Pauline Newman, 4 brothers, Floyd Miller, James Raymond Doyle Miller, Paul Avery Miller, and Gerald Eugene Miller, and 5 grandchildren, Mary Lee, Wayne Jr., Glenn, Jonathan, and Shaneya.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 22, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Allen Epperson officiating. Burial will be at the Harold Warner Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM.
