Mary Carlene Wolfinbarger King, age 86, of Cedar Grove Road in Irvine, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, following a long illness. She was born May 23, 1939, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Sammy and Nannie Clem Embs. She was retired from Sylvania and was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. She had lived in Estill County all her life. She is survived by:

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph King, her brother, Samual Ray Embs, and her brother-in-law, Jackie Dial.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 13, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home with Bro. Merel Travis and Bro. Billy Joe Hounshell officiating. Burial will be at the Embs Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
