Mary Alva Wise Fox, 84, was born February 23, 1940, in Estill County, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Elva Walker and Mary Francis Clark Wise, and wife of the late Harry Dale Fox. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Christian Church. She had lived in Estill County for most of her life. She was a retired Bus Driver with the Estill County Board of Education.

She was preceded in death in addition to her husband and parents by her brothers, Wilbert E., Alonzo B., and James O. Wise, and sisters, Opal C. Critchfield, Thelma Dunaway, Chrystal Ashcraft, Elfreeda Wickizer, Allene Wise, and Wavlene Dunaway.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 10, 1 PM, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Dotson officiating. Burial will be at the Wise Farm Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6 to 9 PM.
