Marsha White Bonny Hughes, age 74, of Irvine, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023, at the Central Baptist Hospital following a short illness. She was born August 18, 1948, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Arthur Woodrow Bonny and Cecilia Ann Davis Bonny. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence E. Hughes. Marsha was a graduate of Irvine High and Eastern Kentucky University. She was a member of the Irvine Ravenna Kiwanis Club. She was a retired social worker and had lived in Estill County all her life. She is survived by:

1 great nephew: Thomas Forehand
Special cousins: Janie, Joedy, and Tennye Ohr

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cecelia Ann Bonny, and her brother, Arthur Woodrow Bonny
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 19, 1 PM at the Irvine United Methodist Church with Rev. Felsha Foster officiating. Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM at the church.
