Obituary for Marion Hardy
Marion Hardy, age 87, of Hardy Road in Irvine passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center following a short illness. He was born January 21, 1930 in Estill County and was the son of the late Kizer and Rachel Catherine Stepp Hardy. He was a former employee of Riddell Construction Company and a member of the Pentecostal Church. He had lived in Estill County all of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mirtie Johnson Hardy. He is survived by: 6 Daughters: Brenda Joyce Riddell Irvine Laverne Estes ; husband, Earl, Sr. Irvine Pauline Walling Irvine Evelyn Hardy Irvine Carolyn Sue Riddell ; husband, Anthony Irvine Doris Jean Hardy ; husband, Robert Irvine 1 Son: Jimmy Hardy ; wife, Hazel Irvine 3 Brothers: Glendon Hardy Irvine George Hardy Irvine Harvey Hardy Irvine 5 Grandchildren including his only granddaughter, Cindy Marie Riddell 14 Grandchildren 1 Great-Great Grandchild Several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his first grandchild, Mickey Riddell, 5 brothers; Jesse, James, Leon, Estill and Tracy Hardy. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 28, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Bill Wesley and Bro. Jason Riddell. Honorary Pastors Bro. Ross Conley and Bro. Buford Powell. Burial will be at the Hardy Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 AM Tuesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
