Margie Lutes Richardson, age 79, of New Fox Road in Irvine, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Irvine Nursing & Rehabilitation Center following a long illness. She was born April 12, 1946, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Jesse and Cora Hall Lutes. She was a retired employee of Electronic Assembly and attended the Bethel Christian Church. She had lived in Estill County all her life. She is survived by:
1 daughter: Michelle Richardson - Estill Co.
1 son: Dwight Richardson - Estill Co.
1 brother: Forrest Lutes - Estill Co.
2 grandchildren: Sydney Richardson and Karlee Richardson
Her companion: Hubert Johnson
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Earl Richardson, 4 sisters, Minnie Lee Lutes, Virgie Wilson, Alleen Rose, Betty Ann Patrick, and 4 brothers, Russell Lutes, Roy Lutes, Johnny Lutes, and Jesse Lutes, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 24, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Richardson – Lutes Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
