Madonna Louise Brandenburg Jenkins, age 94, a resident of the Irvine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, passed away Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Center following a long illness. She was born September 26, 1931, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Fred and Willie Richardson Brandenburg. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church. She had lived in Estill County all her life. She is survived by:

3 grandchildren: Kylie Jenkins, Trenton Jenkins, and Trevor Jenkins
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Jenkins, 4 sisters, Lillian Kirk, Delma Lee Lakes, Lena B. Henry, Joetta Brandenburg, and 3 brothers, Russell, James, and Harold Brandenburg.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 15, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kevin Turpin officiating. Burial will be at the Joe Miller Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Hospice Care Plus, 350 Isaacs Lane, Richmond, KY 40475, in Madonna’s memory.
