Obituary for Lucille Townsend
Lucille Townsend, age 81, of Peters Road in McKee passed away Monday, October 12, 2015, at the Compassionate Care Center following a short illness.She was born January 9, 1934 in Lee County and was the daughter of the late Marvin and Callie Cole Combs.She was a former employee of the Irvine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and attended the Holiness Church.She had lived in Estill County most of her life.She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Townsend.She is survived by: 4 Daughters:Brenda Woolery ; husband, Mason Irvine Mary L. Hardy ; husband, Kiser Irvine Wilma Willis Irvine Debra Conner ; husband, Ron McKee 3 Sons:Carlos Townsend ; wife, Mildred Irvine Charles Townsend ; wife, Charlene Irvine Travis Townsend Irvine 1 Sister:Jeanette Mays Irvine 1 Brother:Omer Combs Austin, IN 16 Grandchildren Several Great Grandchildren 1 Great-Great Grandchild She was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Adria Applegate, Eloree Mays and Betty Townsend, 3 brothers; Odell, Otis and James Combs and 1 grandchild, Jessica Townsend. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 15, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Wednesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. Pallbearers:Her grandsons
