Lucille “Hissy” Puckett Smith, age 89, a resident of the Irvine Nursing and Rehab Center, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the Irvine Nursing and Rehab Center following a long illness. She was born March 16, 1935, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Deward and Lula Wiseman Puckett. She retired from Square D and she had lived in Estill County for most of her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 sister, Bernice Puckett, and 1 brother, Deward “D.C.” Puckett
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 6, 1 PM, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Travis Gordon officiating. Burial will be at the Puckett Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
