Louis Wilkie Fowler, age 71, of Blackburn Road in Irvine passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012, at the Compassionate Care Center after a short illness.He was born October 4, 1940 in Estill County and was the son of the late Floyd and Mona Cox Fowler.He was a member and Deacon of the Drip Rock Baptist Church.He was a United States Army veteran of the Cuban Conflict.He had lived in Estill County most of his life.He is survived by: His wife:Wanda Faye Abner Fowler His daughter:Tracy Michelle Turner Irvine 1 Sister:Faye Etta Brinegar Louisville 2 Brothers:Arthur W. Fowler Estill Co. Don Charles Fowler ; wife, Diana Madison Co. 3 Grandchildren:Sarah Rebecca Hurd ; husband, Bubba Lexington Caleb Louis Turner Estill Co. Noah Joseph Turner Estill Co. Several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by 4 sisters; Wanella J. Fowler, Beulah Eades, Freida M. Morton and Geraldine Marcum and 1 brother, Harold J. Fowler. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 6, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Darrell Isaacs and Bro. Harold Hayes.Burial will be at the Abner Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Wednesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. Pallbearers:Terry Abner Caleb L.
