Loretta Beatrice Gross Stamper, age 97, of Holly Court in Nicholasville, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington following a short illness. She was born October 13, 1927, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Ray Gross and Letha Johnson Gross. She retired from Cedar Village where she worked as a Cook. She attended the New Hope Fellowship Church, and she was a member of the Irvine First Church of God, The Order of the Eastern Star, and The Order of the White Shrine. She had lived in Estill County for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Stamper, and she is survived by:

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Larry Stamper and Charles Lee Stamper, 3 sisters, Jaunita McKinney, Imogene Buffin, and Anna Hall, 1 brother, Kenneth Gross, and 1 grandchild, Richard Jones
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 25, 1 PM, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Stipe, Kristie Tomlian, and Donna Ridner officiating. Burial will be at the Jackson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
