Obituary for Lorene B. Rose
Lorene Barnes Rose, age 77, of Drowning Creek Ridge in Irvine passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at the Central Baptist Hospital after a short illness.She was born August 26, 1934 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Carlie J. and Maudie Wood Barnes.She was a homemaker and a member of the Providence Baptist Church.She was also a member of the DAR and the Estill County Historical Society.She is survived by: Her husband:Bobby L. Rose Her son:Mark Rose Irvine 2 Sisters:Fannie C. Arvin Irvine Irene F. Barnes Irvine 1 Brother:Carlie J. Barnes, Jr. Winston 1 Grandchild:Amber Rose Marcum ; husband, Joseph Glenn Her expected Great Grandson She was preceded in death by 1 brother, John D. Barnes. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 31, 1 PM at the Providence Baptist Church by Bro. Bill Meece, Bro. Bill VanWinkle and Bro. Ronald Lutes.Burial will be at the Turpin Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Friday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home and after 12 Noon Saturday at the Providence Baptist Church.
