Obituary for Lois Jean Smith Morris
Lois Jean Smith Morris, age 60, passed away Saturday, Jan. 18th, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington after a long illness.She was born May 16, 1953, the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Frances Lucille Hawkins Smith. She was a loving housewife and mother who devoted her life to her family. She was a woman of great faith, principle, and morals who cared endlessly for her husband and children. She was and will always be forever known as a wonderful mother and wife by all that knew her. She had lived in Estill Co. for the last 30 years. She was of the Christian Faith. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Russell Morris. In addition, she is also survived by: 3 Daughters:Angela Gay Morris Berea Mary Lucille Smith Estill Bonnie Lee Morris Estill 3 Sons:Russell 'Doc' Morris Jr. Estill Ernest Lee Morris Berea Thomas E. McBain New York 6 Brothers:Jerry Smith Ohio Chris Smith Ohio Paul Smith Ohio Mark Smith Ohio Ronnie Smith Indiana Stevie Smith Ohio 13 Grandchildren:Ida Morris, Joshua Lawson, Rebecca Smith, Kimmy Morris, Russell Morris III, Nicole R. Morris, Nathaniel E. Morris, Addison Morris, Bristol Morris, Cheyenne McBain, Joseph McBain, Jennifer Morris, and Jesse James McBain. She was preceded in death by a great grandson: Bentley Joseph Willis, a Sister; Barbara Hawkins, and 2 Brothers; William L. and Douglas C. Smith. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Cecil Burns with burial to follow in the Madison Memorial Gardens.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 11 AM 1 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be her children by her request and several of her brothers.
