Obituary for Lodena "Dena" Muncy
Lodena Mae “Dena” Muncy, age 82, of Maple Street in Irvine, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at her home following a long illness. She was born January 8, 1939 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Jesse and Della Mae Walters Bailey. She was Valedictorian of the Estill County High School Class of 1957. She was a homemaker and a member of the Williams Memorial Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher for 40 years. She had lived in Estill County most of her life. She is survived by:

Betty (Larry) Witt - Estill Co.
1 brother: Jesse “Itzie” Bailey - Estill Co.
2 grandchildren: Steven Charles Muncy - Estill Co.
Bailey A. Muncy - Estill Co.
She was preceded in death by 1 sister, Vivian Griggs and a special nephew, Donnie Witt.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 25, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. James Ashcraft with burial following at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
