Leon Stamper, age 75, of Reges Road in Irvine passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at his home following a long illness.He was born April 21, 1937 in Estill County and was the son of the late Viola Stamper Wells.He was a retired farmer and a former employee of Trane.He was a United States Army veteran and had lived in Estill County most of his life.He is survived by: His wife of 46 years:Freda Estes Stamper 1 Daughter:Rhonda Neal ; husband, Curt Irvine 1 Sister:Carolyn Baird ; husband, Thomas Florida 2 Grandchildren:Mandy and Maggie Neal 2 Special Neighbors:Noah and Abbie Passmore Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 9, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Darrell Estes, Bro. Sherl Thomas, Bro. Kirt Scott and Bro. Micah Mead.Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Friday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. Honorary Pallbearers:Wayne Johnson, Linville Stamper, Josh Vaughn, Tony ; Billy Bybee, VAMC ICU and 5th Floor nurses, doctors and employees
