Obituary for Lelia Taylor
Lelia Taylor, age 87, of Pryse Road in Irvine passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at her home following a short illness. She was born August 18, 1928 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Joe and Pheobe Pitts Tipton. She was a retired postmaster with the Pryse Post Office where she worked for 31 years. She attended the Church of God and had lived in Estill County all of her life. She is survived by: Her husband: W.C. 'Tucker' Taylor 1 Daughter: Sue Carol Beckley ; husband, Wayne Estill Co. 1 Son: Wallace Charles Taylor ; wife, Cathy Estill Co. 3 Grandchildren: L.W. Beckley, Charleston Jo Neal, Wallace Chandler Taylor 1 Great Grandchild: Will Jared Beckley She was preceded in death by 1 son, William Calvin Taylor, Jr., 3 siblings and 1 grandchild, Chadwick Miles Beckley. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 19, 2 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Tim Hall. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Thursday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
