Lelia Christine Dennis Curtis, age 85, of Poplar Street in Ravenna passed away Friday, September 7, 2012, at the Compassionate Care Center after a long illness.She was born March 22, 1927 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Oscar C. and Eva Lee Hall Dennis.She was a homemaker and a member of the Sandhill Christian Church.She had lived in Estill County all of her life.She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Shelton Curtis.She is survived by: 1 Daughter:Brenda Curtis Neikirk ; husband DannyEstill Co. 1 Son:Farrell Curtis ; wife, Reva Winchester Her daughter-in-law:Sue Benton Curtis Her sister-in-law: Goldie Dennis 7 Grandchildren:Sam Neikirk (Beth), Curtis Neikirk (Ella), Jason Neikirk (Shalyn), Sheltina Hart (Donnie), Farrah Kyle (Jason), Andrea Williams (Bee) and Jennifer Neal (Mike) 15 Great Grandchildren 1 Great-great Grandchild She was preceded in death by 1 son, Elmer T.Curtis, 3 sisters; Ruth Estes, Vera Mae Waters and Bessie Faye Dennis and 4 brothers; Willie 'Bill' Dennis, R.J. Dennis, Glendon Dennis and Eugene Dennis. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 10, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Darrell Estes.Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Sunday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations toward her funeral expenses or a donation to the Hospice Compassionate Care Center.
