Lander Stevens, age 78, of Leighton Road in Irvine, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the Baptist Health in Richmond following a long illness. He was born December 13, 1945, and was the son of the late Joyce Puckett Stevens and Charlie Stevens. He retired after working thirty years for the Irvine Municipal Utilities where he made many lifelong friends. He had lived in Estill County all his life. He is survived by:

5 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael David Stevens, his grandson, Michael Kyle Stevens, 3 sisters, Carol McKinney, Glenna Stevens, Virginia Stevens, and 2 brothers, Charlie and Dale Stevens.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 16, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Adrian McKinney officiating. Burial will be at the Hoover Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6 to 9 PM.
