Kenneth Herman Floyd, age 81, of Dark Hollow Road in Irvine, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023, at the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center following a long illness. He was born March 8, 1941, in Madison County and was the son of Earl Walter and Mabel Wiseman Floyd. He was a retired CSX employee and a retired owner of the Ravenna Greenhouse. He was a member of the Ravenna Christian Church and the Estill County Golf Club. He had lived in Estill County all his life. He is survived by:

7 grandchildren: Matt Floyd, Derrick Floyd, Whitley (Jordan) Marcum, Savanna (Brandon) Chaney, Megan (Chance) Winters, Mitchell (Belle) Spurlock and Josh Spurlock
8 great grandchildren: Tori, Mason, Ceanna, Mylah, J.J., Jules, Zola and Zara
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Roger Floyd.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 24, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tony White officiating. Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6 to 9 PM.
