Obituary for Kenneth Eugene Bush
Kenneth Eugene Bush, age 87, of Edgewood Drive in Irvine passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017, at the Irvine Nursing ; Rehabilitation Center following a long illness. He was born August 12, 1930 in Estill County and was the son of the late William Kenneth and Bess Abney Bush. He was a retired President and CEO of Estill Federal Savings Bank and a life-long member of the Ravenna Christian Church. He was a member of the Kiwanis, the Order of the Eastern Star, 137 F;AM Irvine Masonic Lodge, 32nd Degree Mason, Shriner, and a Kentucky Colonel. He was a former director of the Housing Authority and a 60 year member of the American Legion. He was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by: His wife of 59 years: Janice Hisle Bush 1 Daughter: Ellen Leslie Bush Lexington 1 Brother-in-law: Leon Hisle Lexington Special Friends ; Caretakers: Loraine Campbell and Mildred Gray Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 22, 1 PM at the Ravenna Christian Church by Bro. Tony White. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:30 AM Tuesday at the Church. Warren F. Toler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
