Obituary for Kate J. Stepp
Kate Johnson Stepp, age 84, of Crooked Creek Road in Irvine passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was born February 8, 1928 in Estill County, a daughter of the late Millard Johnson and Hallie Mae Edmonson Johnson Henry. She was a homemaker and was of the Holiness faith. She had lived in Estill County all of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Stepp. Survivors include: Two Daughters: Ella Faye RaderMt. Vernon, KY Gertrude Stepp Irvine, KY One Sister: Para Lee Hardy She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Mae Wallace; two sons: Bill Lee Stepp and Lonzo Stepp; and four sisters: Norma Camden, Myrtie Hardy, Gertrude Hall, and Maggie Kirby. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Jerry Rose. Burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m. Friday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
