Obituary for Juanita Marcum Tackett
Juanita Marcum Tackett, age 82, of Little Doe Creek Road in Irvine passed away Monday, July 2, 2012, at her son's home in Burke, Virginia after a short illness.She was born June 25, 1930 in Hamilton, Ohio and was the daughter of the late E. Herman and Violet Lakes Marcum.She was a member of the Old Time Baptist Church.She was also a member of the Elisa Witt DAR and the Estill County Gardens Club.She was preceded in death by her husband, James David Tackett.She is survived by: 2 Sons:James David Tackett, Jr. ; wife, Louann Burke, VA Raymond Lee Tackett Indianapolis, IN 1 Sister:Vinna Marie Marcum Hamilton, OH 1 Brother:Harry Lee Marcum Richmond, IN 4 Grandchildren She was preceded in death by 1 sister, Shirley Ann Hill. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 7, 11 AM at the Old Time Baptist Church by Bro. Jerry Chaney.Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Friday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
