Juanita C. Thomas, age 88, a resident of the Pillars Masonic Home of Shelbyville passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014, at the Masonic Home following a short illness.She was born December 14, 1925 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late William Bruce and Fannie May Martin Calmes.She was a homemaker and a member of the River Drive Christian Church.She had lived in Estill County most of her life.She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Glenn Thomas.She is survived by: 2 Brothers:Howard Calmes Irvine Harold Calmes Irvine 3 Grandchildren:Ryan, Ashley and Marquis Thomas Cincinnati, OH 1 Great Grandchild:Madalynn Thomas Cincinnati, OH She was preceded in death by 1 son, Harry Glenn Thomas, Jr. and 1 brother, Herman Calmes. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 23, 1 PM at the River Drive Christian Church by Bro. Paul Groves.Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery.Friends may call after 11 AM Tuesday at the River Drive Christian Church.
