Joan Lee Wiseman Rice, age 68, of Willow Tree Lane in Ravenna, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Compassionate Care Center following a long illness. She was born April 10, 1956, in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Stella Powell Wiseman. She was a homemaker and attended the New Life Worship Church in Richmond. She had lived in Estill County all her life. She is survived by:
1 daughter: Stephanie (Sam) Neikirk - Estill Co.
1 son: Rob Isaacs (Teri Lay) - Michigan
6 grandchildren: Haley (Justin) Counterman, Luke (Makenzie) Wilkinson, Ridge Wilkinson (Haley Kerby), Madison (Donivon) Isaacs, Reagan Isaacs, and Gracie Isaacs
4 great grandchildren: Barrett Counterman, Maddox Wilkinson, Alayna Counterman, and Spencer Counterman
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jerry Michael Isaacs and Edward Tom Rice, and two sisters, Betty Sparks and Ida Arvin.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, February 1, 1 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Steve Masters officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
