Jerry David Brandenburg, age 59, of Worrells Road in Irvine passed away Friday, November 1, 2013, at his farm following an accident.He was born August 1, 1954 in Richmond and was the son of Jessie Mae Hardy Brandenburg and the late Clayton Brandenburg.He was a retired heavy equipment mechanic with the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government.He was a retired National Guardsman with 21 years of service that included being called up for deployment during the Gulf War.He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Providence Baptist Church.He had lived in Estill County all of his life.He is survived by: His wife:Pamela Kay Covey Brandenburg His mother:Jessie Mae Hardy Brandenburg Irvine 2 Daughters: Candace Faith Brandenburg Tate ; husband, MichaelRichmond Bethany Brooke Brandenburg Mahmoud ; husband, Mohamed Irvine 1 Son:Jeremy David Brandenburg ; wife, Patricia Irvine 4 Sisters:Lena Brandenburg TN Alverta Farris Irvine Teresa Hughes TX Rene Brandenburg OH 1 Brother:Ronald Brandenburg TN 3 Grandchildren:Deondre Tate, Tionna Tate and Ciara Bishop (who was his world) A host of friends and other relatives who loved him dearly Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, November 9, 2 PM at the Providence Baptist Church by Bro. Bill VanWinkle and Bro. A.B. Patrick.
