Obituary for Jeannette Mays
Jeannette Mays, age 80, of Sweet Lick Road in Irvine passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at the Irvine Nursing ; Rehabilitation Center following a short illness. She was born January 7, 1936 in Patsey, KY and was the daughter of the late Marvin ; Callie Cole Combs. She was a homemaker and a member of the Roadside Mission Church of God. She had lived in Estill County most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Mays. She is survived by: 3 Daughters: Daisy Darlene Andrews Irvine Lois Jean Hobbs ; husband, James Ravenna Maggie Mays Stanton 3 Sons: Robert Lee Mays, Jr. ; wife, Mary Irvine Warren Cleveland Mays ; wife, Malinda Stanton Clyde Douglas Mays ; wife, Krystal Winchester 1 Brother: Omer Combs Austin, IN 18 Grandchildren Several Great Grandchildren Several Great-Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Mavis White, 2 sons; Omer Lee Mays and Larry Kent Mays, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 30, 11 AM at the Roadside Mission Church of God by Bro. Henry Johnson. Burial will be at the Combs Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Thursday at the Roadside Mission Church of God. Warren F. Toler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
