James Earl Kiser, age 79, of Wooley Ridge Road in Irvine, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. He was born September 15, 1946, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and grew up in Upper Tygart, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Earl Stanley Kiser and Pauline Womack Kiser. He was a retired Electrical Engineer, and he attended the Bowen Chapel Church. He had lived in Estill County for the last 33 years. He is survived by:

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 brother, Abby Joe Kiser, and 1 grandchild, Jeremy Jankowski.
Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, June 9, 1 PM, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Davis officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12 to 1 PM.
