Obituary for James Douglas Chrisman
James Douglas “Jim” Chrisman, age 74, of Drowning Creek Ridge Road in Irvine, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019, at Baptist Health Richmond. He was born January 30, 1945 in Estill County and was the son of the late James Edward and Opal Mae French Chrisman. He was an employee of Uncle Charlie’s Meats in Richmond for 53 years and attended the Providence Baptist Church. He had lived in Estill County most of his life. He is survived by:
His wife: Judy Ann Wilson Chrisman
2 sons: Greg (Lisa) Chrisman - Irvine
Ricky Chad Chrisman - Richmond
2 sisters: Shirley (Bob) Berryman - Richmond
Brenda (John) Kay - Versailles
1 brother: Larry (Joan) Chrisman - Irvine
6 Grandchildren: Douglas Chrisman, Casey (Jordan) Covey, Destiny Chrisman, Zack Chrisman, Alyssa Blankenship and Derrick Chrisman
3 great grandchildren: Jaxon Cole, Lainey Gail, and Sadie Jane Covey
He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Douglas Chrisman.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 27, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Bill VanWinkle and Bro. Tim Roberts. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Tuesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
