Obituary for James Donald Roberts
James Donald Roberts, age 82, of Winchester Road, passed away Monday, September 7th, at his home following a long illness.He was born November 15, 1932, in Estill County, the son of the late M.C. and Fannie Mays Roberts.He retired from IBM and had lived in Estill County most of his life.He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict with the United States Navy.He is survived by: His Wife:Nancy Patrick Roberts 2 Daughters: Donna L. Roberts-Luttrell (Parker) Chicago Sandi Thomas (Mitch) Lexington 1 Son: Phillip P. Roberts (Jean) Lexington 1 Sister: Dora Winkle Estill 4 Brothers: Clayton Roberts Lexington Lloyd Roberts Estill Paul Roberts Estill Wayne Roberts Lexington 7 Grandchildren: James Key, Clinton Roberts(Sarah), MeganRoberts, Patrick Roberts, Paige Luttrell, Austin Thomas, and Jacob Roberts 2 Great Grandchildren: Archer and Wendy Roberts In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by 5 Sisters: Ida Mae Freeman, Cora Wilson, Lois Nugent, Hazel Tomes, and Ruby Smyth. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.Friends may call after 11 AM Thursday until service time at the funeral home.
