Obituary for Irene Neal Dawes
Irene Neal Dawes, age 83, of Pea Ridge Road in Irvine passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017, at the Baptist Health Lexington following a short illness. She was born October 30, 1933 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Lee Riddell Neal. She was a homemaker and a lifetime Christian who loved the Lord and her family and lovedto watch WLJC nightly. She had lived in Estill County most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Dawes, and a Son, Steven Wayne Dawes She is survived by: 1 Daughter: Peggy Spivey ; husband, Harold Irvine 1 Son: Gary Dawes ; wife, LaDonna Irvine 11 Siblings: Charles Neal ; wife, Lil Sam (Dickie) Neal ; wife, Edith Jean Neal Hazel Mae Neal Lacey Ray Neal Albert Harold Neal Johnny Neal Ethel Flannery Glen Neal Lois Kirby Sheila Neal 6 Grandchildren: Jon Dawes (Amanda), Brian Dawes (Dawn), Glynn Spivey, Brandon Spivey, Dustin Dawes (Paige) and Jessica Dawes 2 Great Grandchildren: Christopher Dawes and Landon Dawes Several nieces and nephews and many special friends She was preceded in death by 5 siblings; Francis Riley Neal, Benny Neal, Milton Neal, Mildred Kerby and James A. Neal. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 12, 2 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Mark Sarver. Burial will be at the Pea Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Saturday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
