Obituary for Ina Osborne Metcalf
Ina Osborne Metcalf, age 69, of Dug Hill Rd. in Irvine, passed away Friday, March 28, at the Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital after a long illness.She was born April 23, 1944, in Estill County, the daughter of the late Robert and Modena Johnson Osborne.She retired from Carhartt as a machine operator after 36 years.She attended the House of Prayer and had lived in Estill County all of her life.She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Metcalf.She is survived by: 4 Daughters:Kathy Henson and husband JerryFairfield, OH Linda HuntRichmond Pat Bicknell and husband FairleyRichmond Faye Roberts and husband Bill Irvine 1 Son:Billy Wayne MetcalfIrvine 4 Sisters:Lillie Sturgis and husband EddRichmond, IN Allie Fair NolandIrvine Martha Flynn and husband ErnestIrvine Jo Ann Patrick and husband WillardLexington 1 Brother:Wade Osborne Irvine 11 Grandchildren 20 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by:2 Sons: Gary and Don Metcalf; a Son in Law and a Granddaughter: Mike Hunt and Ashlee Hunt; 12 Sisters; 4 Brothers; a Brother in Law: Tracy Noland; and a Sister in Law: Linda Osborne. Funeral services will be conducted Monday 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Jerry Rose and Bro. Gary McClanahan with burial to follow in the Turpin Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
