Ina Faye Murphy, age 73, of Stevens Avenue in Irvine, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024, at the University of Kentucky Hospital following a long illness. She was born January 11, 1951, in Jackson County, and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Rosetta Isaacs Marcum. She was a CMA for the Central Baptist Hospital, and she was a member of the Drip Rock Baptist Church. She had lived in Estill County for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glyndon Murphy, and she is survived by:

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 1 sister, Wanda Barker, and 4 brothers, Eugene, Farris, Kenneth, and Elmer Jr. Marcum
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 27, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Keith Carr officiating. Burial will be at the Marcum Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
