Obituary for Ida Jane Williams
Ida Jane Williams, age 95, of Southern Hills Drive in Richmond passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at her home following a short illness. She was born May 12, 1922 in Jackson County and was the daughter of the late Henry and Emmaline Griffin Gilbert. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hargett First Church of God. She had lived in Estill County most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Franklin Williams. She is survived by: 2 Daughters: Ima Jean Marshall (Scotty) Madison Co. Violet Davenport (Freddie)Madison Co. 2 Sons: Jimmy Lee Williams (Phyllis)Estill Co. Herman Douglas Williams (Jodi) Estill Co. 3 Step-Children: Mayfra Isaacs Estill Co. Robert Samuel Williams Estill Co. Wesley Franklin Williams (Phyllis)Estill Co. 8 Grandchildren 7 Step-Grandchildren 3 Great-Great-Great Grandchildren Several Nieces and Nephews Several Great Grandchildren and Several Great- Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by 1 sister, Georgia Williams and 6 brothers; Harvey, Richard, Jimmy, Jesse, Goldie and Arnold Gilbert. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 18, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Merle Travis. Burial will be at the Williams Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Saturday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
