Obituary for Herman Riddell
Herman Riddell, age 82, of Pea Ridge Road in Irvine passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at the Compassionate Care Center following a long illness. He was born April 8, 1934 in Estill County and was the son of the late Victor, Sr. and Mariah Neal Riddell. He was a retired Hamilton Foundry employee and a member of the Pea Ridge Holiness Church. He was a United States Marine and served during the Korean Conflict. He had lived in Estill County most of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Akers Riddell. He is survived by: 1 Daughter: Sandra Turner ; husband, Mick Las Vegas, NV 3 Sons: Timothy Wayne Riddell Estill Co. Donald Lee Riddell ; wife, Diane Fayette Co. Herman Todd Riddell Estill Co. 1 Sister: Wanda Duncan Estill Co. 2 Brothers: Jason Riddell Estill Co. Estill Riddell Estill Co. 5 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Lorene Hunt and Margaret Barrett and 3 brothers; Harold, Victor Jr. and Ben Riddell. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 30, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Jerry Rose. Burial will be at the Pea Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Friday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
