Obituary for Helen Marie Romans
Helen Marie Elliott Romans, age 79, of Doe Creek Road in Irvine passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 at her home following a long illness. She was born July 22, 1933 in Grayson, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Oddie and Goldie Ison Elliott. She was retired from Columbus State Institution, where she worked as an LPN. She attended the Pentecostal Church of God and had lived in Estill County for the past five years. She is survived by: Her Husband: Earl Ersel Romans, Estill County Six Daughters: Rosetta Cyrus and husband, Mike, Estill County Earlene Owens and husband, Bruce, Georgetown, KY Debi Abbott and husband, Gary, Sadieville, KY Connie Morgan and husband, Andrew, Grayson, KY Ladonna Hudson and husband, Rick, Columbus, OH Vicki Hall and husband, Scott, Lexington, KY Three Sons: James Romans and wife, Debi, Newark, OH Daniel Romans and wife, Suzi, Richmond, KY David Romans and wife, Debbie, Grayson, KY One Sister: Sue Ingles, Olive Hill, KY Four Brothers: George Elliott, Olive Hill, KY Ray Elliott, Grayson, KY Johnny Elliott, Grayson, KY Bob Elliott, Grayson, KY 20 Grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren also survive She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Romans; one son, Robert Romans; three sisters: Shirley Ingles, Thelma Elliott, Emma Elliott; one brother, Billy Elliott; and one great grandchild, Mark Wilson. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Mitchell Tolle. Burial will follow in West Irvine Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 p.m. Monday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
