Harry Walters, age 94, of Old Fox Road in Irvine, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at the Compassionate Care Center following a long illness. He was born January 13, 1929, in Estill County and was the son of the late Charles and Hattie Haze Walters. He was a retired CSX Railroad employee and a member of the Corinth Christian Church. He had lived in Estill County all his life. He is survived by:
1 daughter: Lisa (Dale) Wise - Irvine
1 grandchild: Christopher Wise
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Theda Wiseman Walters, 7 sisters, Martha, Myrtle, Emma, Edith, Elsie, Viola, Emma Jean and 8 brothers, Chester, Freddie, Charlie, Frank, Hank, Larry, Al and John Walters.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 18, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Raymond Tipton officiating. Burial will be at the Walters Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 6 to 9 PM.
