Obituary for Harmon Lee Hamblin
Harmon Lee Hamblin, age 79, of Gibson Bay Drive in Richmond passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013, at the Baptist Health in Lexington following a short illness.He was born September 8, 1934 in Richmond and was the son of the late James Anderson and Adrienne Kearns Hamblin.He was a Kentucky State employee and a member of the Florence Baptist Temple.He was also a member of the Irvine Masonic Lodge 137 F;AM and the Eastern Star.He had lived in Estill County most of his life.He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Fox Hamblin.He is survived by: 1 Daughter:Beth Pack ; husband, Alan Burlington 1 Son:Wayne Hamblin ; wife, Theresa Estill Co. 2 Sisters:Lois Jo Eversole Richmond Eva Mae Combs Buckhorn 3 Brothers:Foster Hamblin ; wife, Helen Texas Russell Hamblin ; wife, Nancy Lee Richmond Anthony Hamblin ; wife, Virginia Georgetown 6 Grandchildren:Jennifer Copper, Joshua Hamblin, Alyssa Pack, Abby Pack, Nicole Murphy and Justin Burgess He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Bernice Hamblin,2 sisters, Ronola Hamblin and Dronna Hamblin and 1 brother, James Hamblin. Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, October 16, 11:30 AM at the Waco Baptist Church by Bro. Fred Livingood.Friends may call after 10 AM Wednesday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the National Stroke Association.
