Gladys Mae Garrett Tyree, age 98, of River Drive in Irvine passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012, at the Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital.She was born February 15, 1914 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late James and Rebecca Park Garrett.She was a homemaker and had lived in Estill County all of her life.She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Green Tyree.She is survived by: 2 Daughters: Joetta Palmer Estill Jackie Wiseman Florida 3 Sons: Pepper Allen Tyree Berea Michael Tyree Estill Glynn Tyree Estill 7 Grandchildren 4 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by a son Paul Tyree, 2 Sisters and 3 Brothers Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 3, 2 PM at the Friendship BaptistChurch by Bro. Scott Rogers.Burial will be at the Oakdale Cemetery.Friends may call from11AM Wednesday until service time at the Friendship Baptist Church.
