Obituary for Gladys Alcorn
Gladys Alcorn, age 98, a resident of the Irvine Nursing ; Rehabilitation Center passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017, at the Center following a short illness. She was born June 16, 1919 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Orlando and Melissa Muncie. She was a homemaker and had lived in Estill County all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Alcorn. She is survived by: 1 Daughter: Juanita Alcorn White ; husband, Robert Richmond 1 Son: Robert David Alcorn ; wife, Jean London 2 Grandchildren: Ronnie Alcorn and Christian Alcorn 1 Great Grandchild: Holly Alcorn 1 Great-Great Grandchild She was preceded in death by 1 sister, Nellie Neal and 3 brothers; Yancy, Edward and Gardner Muncie. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 14, 2 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Marvin Neal. Burial will be at the Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 AM Monday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
