Gerry Wayne Puckett, age 53, of Old Fox Road in Irvine passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at his home following a long illness.He was born May 18, 1960 in Estill County and was the son of the late Roy and Alma Hall Puckett.He was a roofer and attended the Full Gospel Evangelistic Ministry.He was a former member of the National Guard.He had lived in Estill County all of his life.He is survived by: His wife:Patricia Tipton Puckett 1 Daughter:Brittany Faye Puckett Estill Co. 1 Son:Gerry 'J.R.' Wayne Puckett, Jr. ; wife, Amanda Estill Co. 2 Sisters:Ann Lewis Estill Co. Brenda Hawkins Estill Co. 4 Brothers:Johnny Puckett Estill Co. David Puckett Estill Co. Ronnie Puckett Estill Co. William Puckett Estill Co. 1 Grandchild:Haley Jo Puckett He was preceded in death by 2 daughters; Linda Michelle and Patricia Gail Puckett, 2 sisters; Linda Puckett and Tootsie Berryman and 4 brothers; Alvin, Omer, Donald and Bobby Puckett. Private services were held Friday, July 26, at the Puckett Cemetery by Bro. Larry Collins.Warren F. Toler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
