Gerald P. Sparks, age 85, of Harris Ferry Road in Irvine passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at his home following a long illness.He was born August 25, 1926 in Estill County and was the son of the late Stephen and Bertha Berryman Sparks.He was a retired farmer and a retired employee of Bundy Tubing.He was a member of the Corinth Christian Church and had lived in Estill County all of his life.He is survived by: His wife:Sara Stamper Sparks 2 Sons:Ricky Sparks ; wife, Brenda Estill Co. Charles Sparks ; wife, Charlene Madison Co. 2 Step-Daughters:Patty Embs Estill Co. Rhonda Tate Madison Co. 2 Step-Sons: Larry Neal Estill Co. Scotty Neal Estill Co. 4 Grandchildren:Matthew Sparks, Kayla Dixon, Daniel Sparks ; Stephen Sparks 1Great Grandchild:Sydney Dixon Several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren He was preceded in death by 1 sister, Beulah Jones and 1 brother, T.J. Sparks. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 18, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Larry Neal.Burial will be at the Fielder Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Friday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
