George Walker Crowe, age 95, of Pine Street in Ravenna, passed away Thursday, Oct. 22nd, at his home following a sudden illness.He was born January 1, 1920, in Estill County, the son of the late Henry Harlan and Eva Barnes Crowe. He retired from CSX as a Carman and had lived in Estill County all of his life.He was a member of the Ravenna Church of God.He was preceded in death by his Wife, Mildred Zereda Fore Crowe.He is survived by: A Son: Charles Crowe (Loretta) Ravenna 2 Grandchildren: Shonna Ballard Monica Arvin 4 Great Grandchildren: Whitney O'Keefe Mariah Ballard Haley Lisle Cade Lisle A Great Great Grandson: Wyatt Noland Funeral services will be held Sunday 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Kenneth Steele and Bro. Willie Gordon with burial to follow in the Turpin Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
