George Estes, age 80, of Crooked Creek Road in Irvine, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the Marcum & Wallace Memorial Hospital. He was born June 3, 1945, in Estill County and was the son of the late Walker and Haley McIntosh Estes. He was retired from D&M Manufacturing and attended the 52 Full Gospel Church and the 10th Street Full Gospel Holiness Church in Connersville, Indiana. He is survived by:

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Gladys McKinney, Margaret Embree, Mary Paul, and 5 brothers, Rice, Price, Edward, Hezikiah, and Glendon Estes.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 15, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home with Bro. Adam Arvin officiating. Burial will be at the Estes Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
