Geneva Tipton Barnes, age 79, of Estill Avenue in Irvine passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013, at the Marcum ; Wallace Memorial Hospital after a long illness.She was born August 27, 1934 in Estill County and was the daughter of the late Joe Camden and Mona Marcum Tipton. She worked as a dedicated hairdresser for 47 years and was a member of the Cow Creek Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Lincoln 'Tim' Barnes.She is survived by: 3 Daughters:Vada B. Combs Irvine Jackie Witt ; husband, Roger Bybee Mona Powell ; husband, Randy Irvine 2 Sisters:Dovie Lynch ; husband, Charlie Beattyville Dorothy Potts Beattyville 4 Grandchildren:Nicholas Witt Richmond Brian Witt Richmond Ryan Powell ; wife, Chyanna Irvine Heather Powell Patrick ; husband, JustinIrvine Several Great Grandchildren and Nieces and Nephews She was preceded in death by 7 brothers; Leonard Tipton, William Charles Tipton, Homer Camden Tipton, George Tipton, Hobert Tipton, Anderson Tipton and Rudy Joe Tipton. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 30, 1PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Richard Wilkerson.Burial will be at the Beatty Place Cemetery.Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Tuesday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
