Obituary for Geneva H. Jenkins
Geneva H. Jenkins, age 89, of McSwain Branch Road in Irvine, passed away Monday, April 15, 2019, at her home following a long illness. She was born April 9, 1930 in Jackson County and was the daughter of the late Albert and Bendi Skinner Harrison. She was a homemaker and a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She enjoyed taking long walks and working in her flowers. She had lived in Estill County most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Jenkins. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by:
1 Daughter: Rene (Gary) Bicknell - Irvine
2 Grandchildren: Amy Denise Bicknell and Gary Lynn Bicknell
1 Great Grandchild: Leslie Rene Bicknell
Several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by 2 children, Carolyn Sue Jenkins and Terry Lynn Jenkins and 1 grandchild, Christopher Lee.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 19, 10 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home by Bro. Glendon Mays and Bro. Jason Brooks. Burial will be at the Joe Miller Cemetery. Friends may call between 6 and 9 PM Thursday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
