Obituary for Fred Rawlins
Fred Rawlins, age 83, of Dark Hollow Road in Irvine passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was born May 13, 1928 in Estill County, a son of the late Owen and Annie Neal Rawlins. He was retired from Carhartt where he worked as a truck driver and had lived in Estill County most of his life. He was a member of the House of Prayer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Elam Rawlins. He is survived by: Three Daughters:Ladonna Fowler and husband, Jeff Irvine Brenda Horn and husband, Terry Ravenna Carolyn Miller and husband, Doug Irvine Three Sons:Jackie Fred Rawlins and wife, Sharon Irvine Glenn Rawlins Irvine Mike Rawlins and wife, Sandy Paintsville One Sister:Bertha Wagers Irvine Twelve Grandchildren Ten Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by three daughters: Berthedda Rawlins Dawes, Linda Rawlins Clark and Lorraine Rawlins; two sons: Paul Douglas Rawlins and Robert C. Rawlins; One sister: Nellie Pasley; one grandchild: Elizabeth Ann Fowler. Funeral services for Fred Rawlins will be conducted Monday, 2 p.m. and the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home chapel by Rev. Glennis Sizemore. Burial will follow at the Rawlins Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home.
