Farrell Thomas Sparks, age 80, of Fitch Avenue in Winchester, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the University of Kentucky Hospital. He was born May 12, 1944, in Estill County and was the son of the late TJ and Nellie Hampton Sparks. He was a Contactor, Farmer, Business Owner, and worked for numerous other companies. He lived most of his life in Estill and Clark counties, but he also lived in California. He had traveled to several countries across South America including Jamaica and Columbia, building schools and churches. He is survived by:
1 son: Thomas K. Sparks (Danielle) - Clark Co.
1 sister: Rita Patrick - Estill Co.
4 grandchildren: Justin Sparks (Caiti), Bridgette Sparks, Alara Sparks, and Kimberly Sparks
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ronnie and Terry Sparks.
A celebration of life will be conducted Saturday, November 23, 4 PM, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dodd Dixon officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 3 to 4 PM.
